Questions
Why not just blur it?
Blurred numbers can sometimes be read back. Covered parts here are filled with solid colour, so the digits are gone from the saved file.
Does it work on documents other than Aadhaar and PAN?
Yes. Turn on dates and other long numbers to cover account, phone and card numbers, or drag across anything else, such as an address or signature.
Do you upload my files?
No. The tool runs inside your browser using WebAssembly. Your file never leaves your device, and it still works with Wi-Fi turned off.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox on Android, iPhone, Windows, Mac and Linux.
