Questions
Can the blur be undone?
No. The saved image only contains the blurred or pixelated pixels. Use Strong or Maximum so details cannot be guessed, or a solid box for text like number plates.
Does it find every face?
It finds most clear, front-facing faces, including small ones in group photos. Side views, masks or very small faces can be missed, so check the preview and drag a box over anything left.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Face detection (UltraFace, about 1 MB) runs in your browser. Location and camera data are removed from the saved photo too.
Can I blur a number plate or address?
Yes. Choose "I will mark areas myself" or simply drag a box over the plate. A solid black box is the safest for text.
