Why M4A and not MP3?
Most phone videos already store their sound as AAC, the audio inside M4A, so we can copy it with no quality loss and no waiting. M4A plays on iPhones, Android phones, WhatsApp, Windows and Mac.
Will the quality drop?
With Original, no: when the video has AAC sound it is copied as is. Other choices re-encode it at the bitrate you pick.
