Why does the 10 KB version look smaller?
To stay under a tiny limit without turning blocky, the photo is made smaller in pixels as well as compressed. Bigger limits keep more pixels.
Do you upload my files?
No. The tool runs inside your browser using WebAssembly. Your file never leaves your device, and it still works with Wi-Fi turned off.
